 Pelham Arts Workshops

Pelham Arts are able to offer a wide range of creative workshops to suit a wide range of ages. These workshops are designed to introduce a subject to a novice or add to the existing knowledge of the already experienced artist. In doing this we can cater for a wider audience to include all ages, and all levels of ability.

We take a flexible, success-orientated approach; each workshop is tailored to suit the needs and interests of the group so that everyone can work at their own pace. Our aim is for each individual to walk away with a sense of personal achievement and the courage to share any new skills they have learned.

Pelham arts are dedicated to the liberation of the artiste within us all as creativity changes the way you see and perceive the world. Through different perspectives and the translations you make you are able to move with the world in new ways.

Our workshops can take the form of informal “drop-in and have-a-go” sessions, taster sessions with several groups, or in-depth workshops with one group. They can be single, stand-alone workshops, or a series of sessions tailored to specific goals.

Whatever your needs for creative workshops Pelham Arts can deliver it.

Concept

Education to work effectively has to have balance, fine tuning, and most importantly a guide that can not only teach the subject, but instill unforseen confidences in each individual, nurture their perceptions, and enable them to move on and see the world from an enhanced and enriched view of it.
Art is a language for so many of the public out there unable to communicate their own concepts and ideas.

Creative practioners are expected to be endowed with the projective objective to eleviate pressures in the individuals who they are teaching. This can be extremely difficult when as part of your teaching practice you are investigating your own teaching practices to such a degree that the lesson is then taught through the same system regularities that the learner doesn't want to be a part of.

Some of the best creators are being neglected and exhausted to some degree in all of this.

'The world of reality has it's limits, the world of the imagination is boundless' Jean Jaques Rousseau

The beauty of Pelham Arts is that it has investigated all that is to be gained through two opposing approaches to teaching and come up with a concept and practical approach that is a balance between the two.

In conjunction with our unique agent management system we are able to ensure that all health and safety/risk asessment schedules are met as well as ensuring that all our workshop practitioners have up to date CRB clearances, and meeting all the specified requirements for their position.
